I've had a Nokia 5530 XpressMusic before my Lumia 620, and I was able to call with an earphone (which doesn't have a microphone) and the microphone of the phone.

Now, in my Lumia 620, same thing is available for Skype calls. but for regular calls, if I have plugged my earphone to the phone, my friend will not hear anything. Seems that the phone is trying to use microphone of my earphone, which is not exists!

Is it normal? How can I use phone microphone for regular calls when I've plugged my earphone into the device? (Skype has this feature, but not regular calls!!)

Update: It's working fine now. Maybe it was a software issue, which is gone now.

My 920 does not do that. It uses the phone mix.

So both 920 and 620 of you can use phone microphone and an earphone, right?

Maybe that was a software issue, I'll restart my phone and check what happens.
