No Bluetooth 4 support in WP8?

Is there support for Bluetooth 4 in WP8?
I was specifically looking for the 4 LE profile. The only relevant thread I found is from end of last year with half the people saying the 920 has support whereas half said WP8 doesn't.

I did some digging and pretty much all of the latest WP8 devices have HW chips with Bluetooth 4, yet none of them list Bluetooth 4 in the specs page (top out at 3), making me think WP8 doesn't support it yet.

920 is certified for Bluetooth 4 but whether it uses it, I don't know. Frankly, I don't know the difference. Is there a specific use I could test that would let me know?

I think the "certification" may not be relevant to us. All WP8 devices uses Qualcomm's chipsets which tend to come with Bluetooth 4 support along with all of its various profiles. If this is the FCC certification you're talking about, it has to do with bands n safety and all sorts of things *not* related to user functionality .

I think the situation is sort of like with the FM chips where most WP8 devices have FM radio hardware, but not software or drivers to unlock it.

Note: Nokia advertises 920 as Bluetooth 3.1 only
