How to Add Contact Pictures to SMS?

Anybody know how to get the contact pictures to show up in the SMS threads? Seems like a pretty basic feature these days.

It's common sense but not everyone uses common sense i.e. Apple still hasn't done it even after 6 iOS D=!

No way to do it atm, only Microsoft can enable this feature.

I would like the contact pictures to be present while texting and during a call. Not just while the phone is ringing or connecting the call. It was there in my older blackberry, so I assumed every platform had it...silly me

Apple DOES do it - from iOS5 on iPad, when using iMessage which almost all iOS users do. (You and I know that SMS and iMessage are not the same thing, but 99% of iOS users don't even know there is a difference....)

There is no reason that MS should not be showing the contact photo for SMS, just as they already do for email. I'd also like if they'd show the contact picture during phone calls (currently, it only shows up when a phone call is incoming, but once the call is accepted the photo goes away).
