Just git my new Nokia 928 and installing all the apps I have been watching, but wanted to know, which apps are huge battery drainers?

The biggest battery drainers will be the ones that require a data connection as well as games.

    So IM+ and Kwik Messenger?

    What about social media apps?

USA Today seems to drain faster on WP8 than it did on WP7. I suspect because it is keeping its data connection open trying to retrieve the broken weather flip tile.

I tried using the Facebook app published by MS and found that drained my battery pretty quickly. Same story with Viber. The baked-in social networking stuff in the People hub is fine though. You might want to check how often your email syncs too as that can affect the battery as well. I've got my Live account synchronising daily and all other accounts set to manual sync only. This way I can get two to three days on a single charge on my 920.
