I just got a Lumia 822 today, and when I hook it to my Windows 7 computer, it is not recognized as a drive. I wanted to drag and drop some ringtones, but I can't get it recognized. It did show as a portable device, but when I clicked on that, it didn't show any folders. Any suggestions?

Is the lock screen on your phone pin protected? That is the only time I ever experienced this. If so just enter your pin, and you will get the folders.

I don't think so. I can slide up the lockscreen and use the phone. Is there something else to do?

Restart PC. Usually this is caused by phone being locked. So unlock phone, then plug into PC

All of a sudden, after several PC restarts, and phone restarts, it started recognizing it. Thanks, everyone!

It will recognize it if my sd card is removed, but not if the sd card is in the phone. What's up with that?
