I believe that Nokia would have much to gain from a EOS camera based on the WP8 EOS smartphone. The EOS camera could be stripped of the SIM, this being replaced by a microSD card. Could have less storage to reduce cost, also maybe a standard non HD display would do if it is the same size. In any case, cameras are popular when colored like Nokias and it would reduce unit costs for many components. It would also give Nokia a presence in the digital camera shelves, thus building up the brand recognition. It would also be a marketing coup... If Nokia also sells digital cameras, well then their cameras must be superior! Like a $100.- less than the smartphone. Also cameras have a longer product cycle of about 18 to 24 months. Of course the EOS camera would require a Xenon flash. With cameras, there is no need for carriers... Nokia can sell them anywhere!
