Not able to connect windows phone to pc

After reset my Nokia lumia 520 (windows phone 8), i am not able to connect the phone to PC. when i connect using USB cable my phone was not listed under the portable device.:crying:

That's interesting, I have the same problem with my 521. It no longer shows up on my laptop as a portable device. I even downloaded the Windows 8 app and that doesn't recognize it either.
