Can't link MS Acct to new windows phone 8? Solution found

Just got my new Nokia lumina 521 but, couldn't sign in with my Microsoft Acct for 2 days. Tried resetting phone nothing, resetting time zone nothing. Even changed my Microsoft id from Hotmail to live.com and still nothing. Finally, found it right in front of me. log on to your MS Acct. Under security info, tap create new App password and sign in with that password on any device that doesn't prompt you for a security code. Apparently, when you sign up for 2-step acct. verification you have to do this, with every new device you add.
