Select All Contacts for SMS

I have a Lumia 920 and when I create a new SMS and hit the '+' icon, I can go to the 'Select' icon, press the '...' and there's an option for 'select all contacts'.

I recently started using a Lumia 520 for work purposes and noticed this option isn't there. Instead I have to select all the contacts or put people in groups.

Does anyone know why the 'select all contacts' option is missing and how you can get it back?!

I am facing the same problem . Can any one tell me how to select all contacts.
Also I created groups but when I m trying to SMS it's not showing groups ,

Interesting, not available on my Lumia 1020 either.

And strangely the option is no longer there on my 920 after the GDR2 update. Seems odd to remove this useful feature...
