Updates, to unlocked devices

I'm from uk, I have a Huawei W1 its was on o2, but I left now on Three. I typed in the unlocking code but still says o2 when I boot the phone up. Due to the 02 rom. I wondering when I will get the updates as its unlocked phone on a different network??

If it's unlocked, then it's unlocked, I think that the boot splash screen stays for life..
Sorry for repeating myself, heh, but if the phone's unlocked, then you'll get updates as soon as others with unlocked handsets. I at least think, that this goes so, since it's ou know - unlocked..?

You will get the update when the update is released on O2. There is a difference between SIM unlocked and unbranded. Unbranded gets updates straight from the manufacturer. If you flash an unbranded rom to the phone, you should get it faster

It does on Nokias, I think SIM card lock is something completely separate than firmware. Lets put it this way, you can't get around unlocking the SIM card slot using firmware
