Just had a DM from EE on Twitter, they have no news on the update at the moment - although that sounds about right...it could come tomorrow or next year knowing them!

I had just had an update to display and touch and the extras section in settings. No phone update though.
I take it amber will come through phone updates instead of store?

Yes, the Amber update will arrive via the phone updates section, not through the Store.

I know that but as I explained not all tfeatures were there. Hence the update to my phone yesterday for things such as blue tooth 4.

I tweeted at Nokia two days ago. Their response was, "Unfortunately we do not have any information regarding the Amber/GDR2 update at this time."

I'm in the US with VZW and a Lumia 928. As someone earlier in this thread mentioned, this combination means Amber/GDR2 will be my Christmas present.
