I can't figure out how to create a new note in Onenote. Microsoft Help for WP8 illustrates a screen with a "+" and a "search" icon at the bottom, indicating that the "+" is used to create a new note. However, on my Onenote (on L925), There is no "+" icon. There is only a "recent" and "search" icon at the bottom.

What is the procedure for creating a new note?

thanks

Click on Personal(Web), My NoteBook, then you should have a + for making a new note..

Alright I know what's your problem is. OneNote is broken down into "notebooks" and then each notebook can have "chapters/sections" and then each chapter can have "pages". For WP8 you can only add new "pages". So the reason why you don't see a circle button with a plus sign in it is because you are not in the "chapter" view of a notebook. So what I would recommend doing is pressing words that say "< notebooks" at the top (which maybe you are at that view which displays your notebooks which is probably only shows one). Click on where it says "Your name's Notebook" and then click on "Quick Notes". After that you should see the plus sign. Also if I was you I would go to OneNote on your computer desktop and reorganize everything to your desire like create new notebooks and chapters for those notebooks so that whenever you are away from your computer you can add pages to those chapters of notebooks from your 925.

Make sure that you save any changes from the desktop to SkyDrive so that your phones OneNote updates to those changes.
