How to upgrade the OS version?

Hi all, i am using a lumia 720 with OS version - 8.0.10211.204. This version doesn't have the Data Sense pre-installed in it(my service provider supports this feature but they said it has to come along with the OS). i want to upgrade it to the later version i.e. 8.0.10327.77 or 8.0.10328.78 which have Data Sense n many more features pre-installed in it.
I tried upgrading through App list>Settings>Phone update. but apparently it works only for some apps and not the OS. Kindly suggest me how do upgrade the OS.
(For your kind info, my friend bought another lumia 720 n it has Data Sense pre-installed in it n the OS version is 8.0.10327.77. Both of us r using the same service provider - Vodafone)

You have to wait like everyone else, Settings>Phone Update is where you go to look for the updates and there is no way to force it either.

You can flash it manually and there are numerous threads on here that tell you how to do it but remember that it could invalidate your warranty with your carrier, Nokia or both.

You can use nokia care suite to update it and lose your data,

Good point, I forgot about the Nokia Care Suite ;-)
