Hi all,

Finally received OTA update for my L620 (posted here since it's probably a better place)

I happily downloaded it but after waiting for almost an hour for it to finish download and install, it gave me the following error message. I tried check for update again, took me another hour, got the same error. I restarted my phone, tried downloading again and still the same error. Could space on device be a problem? I have about 1 GB left.

Edit: when i left the update screen after it failed for the 4th time, i saw the touch section. couldn't use it though

After looking around I found this: update error 800710fe - Microsoft Community

It seems you need at least 700Mb of free space to perform the update, or thereabouts. Hope this fixes it for you.

Haha, thanks for the reply, but I kinda figured out the problem. My phone's region was different from my account's region.

Guys.. Sorry to ask.. How do you find your Phone's region?? I bought my L620 in India through a Retail shop and I'm using Microsoft account with region as "India".. Still getting the error. Enlighten me please..

Edit: I have around 972 MB of free space!!
