Any ideas on my SMS problem?

Had the same problem with an unlocked Lumia 920, now the same with the unlocked 1020. SMS is working, then suddenly I stop receiving them and can only send. Remove the SIM, insert the sim into my android and all the sms's come in. Put the sim back, SMS is working fine, an hour or two later stop receiving again and the cycle continues. I tried changing to a new sim, issue continues. Tried wiping, same issue.

Which cell provider do you have. I assume At&t. There might be an issue with the tower in your area. it could be an issue with your phone communicating with the network. A couple of things that can fix it.

#1. reboot your phone (aka soft reset)
#2. send a text to yourself. That usually will fix it as well.

Actually an AT&T unlocked on TELUS. SMS to myself never gets received. Happens everywhere, not a specific tower. Soft reset doesnt fix it either.
