Start button feature wanted!

I had a brain wave this afternoon with what could be very handy on WP. You know how on Windows 8/RT if you press the Windows Logo button it will switch between the current app and the start screen? Wouldn't this feature be incredibly handy on the phones as well? While in an app, after getting a notification you can quickly switch to the start screen and see on the tiles if it's worth looking at, continue to it or press the Windows Logo button to go back to the app just as you were.

Currently the way I do it is to press the Logo and if it's nothing interesting, press the back button to head back to the app. Might be a cool tweak just to keep all operating systems similar!

But then you couldn't scroll to the top of your screen easily unless you provide a replacement way to do that and it does kind of duplicate the back button. I'd personally prefer it as is

Not sure I completely follow your wording of "couldn't scroll to the top of your screen easily". Can you elaborate on that a little?
