Did GDR3 allow for high res SkyDrive uploads?

I have a 925, so this hasn't been an issue for me yet, but I want to get a 1520. Did GDR3 enable SkyDrive to upload those high megapixel photos? As I understand, it would only upload the 5mp version on the 1020. I would like auto upload of both.

It has always given you a choice whether to upload high-res, good quality, or no upload. It's in settings | applications | photos + camera.

I think he's talking about the 40MP (for 1020) and 20MP (that the 1520 will have) versions, not the 'full-resolution' option in Skydrive. Those still aren't possible that I can see.

I think their sheer size may want you to transfer them over to PC's Skydrive folder instead of via mobile. The time it takes will be equivalent to at least 15000 Big Macs.

Ya, the high res is not that much in terms of wifi, its only 10-15 mb which can pile up quickly on cellular, but if you are on wifi, why not allow?

They allow it on the ATT locker room, no reason not to allow it to skydrive. The issue is att locker app sucks.
