I use Outlook.com I use mail rules to automatically place email from certain senders into designated folders. Though remaining as unread emails, there are not causing notifications. Is there anything I can do about that?

Did you check your notification's settings, go to outlook, more mail settings, notification's.

WP doesnt show notifications from sub-folders. Very annoying I know. If you want to get even tile count, you need to pin that specific folder.
