I've had a Samsung focus for a good while now and due to the fact wp has stopped caring for wp7 and alot of app developers are sticking to wp8 I have been looking around for a different phone I mess around with all the phones at the at&t store and the phone that stood out for me was the LG g2. I like the size and speed it showed. I am not to fond of gigantic phoned thats why I like the focus. Can anyone tell me about a wp8 that is similar in size and has good quality's like the lg g2? TIA

Unfortunately this will be the case with WP7.8. Developers will always now develop primarily for WP8. There are far more users on WP8 than on WP7.8 now and also WP8 allows developers to produce better apps with more functions than was previously possible with WP7.8.

I made the jump up to WP8 and have been more than happy. It'll be a shame to lose you if you do decide to go away from WP, but people are always welcome to choose whichever device they want. You say you are not to fond of gigantic phones so that immediately rules out the two new Lumias which I'm sure you are aware of, although the G2 has a fairly big screen at 5.2". I would say your best options at the moment are the 920, 925 or 1020. Are there certain features you are looking for in particular?

Well, if you are looking for a larger phone, Lumia 1520 just came out. The Samsung ATIV S & NEO variants are larger as well. If you liked WP 7.8, then I would recommend it.

If you did not like WP 7.8, are looking for more integration of services, and more options for your phone, go with LG G2. Why I say that - comming from Android, I have been very disappointed with Windows Phone - great OS, but has not yet come of age. *shrug*

people leave WP because they aren't able to upgrade to WP8? lol. its time to move on. WP is a good platform, but still in early ages. Lack of developers and support. I've mailed some Android developers if they want to port their apps to WP. only few of them giving positive feedback

As this isn't a guide or how-to thread, I'd suggest a mod move it to the WP8 forum.
