Resume Video playback

I was wondering is it possible to pause a video playback, go to read message or do some other stuff, then return to the video and resume at the point where i paused in windows phone 8.

I hate every time when i was watching some videos, a message comes in, after replying the message, I need to reload the video from the start.

Doesn't it work if you just minimize the app using the windows-key instead of backing out of it?

I think some apps support "resume", but most don't. FlashVideo remembers where you paused even after a day or two.

Tested on internet explorer and the stock video player, it just stop the video every time i minimise the app. I can't find any app that will allow me to resume the play

It doesn't. If i press the windows key, the phone minimise it and navigate to the home screen. But when I long press the back key and click on the video again, I notice the video has been stopped and if i click play again, it just start from the beginning. tested with both youtube, internet explorer, or video captured with camera, all does not work on the lumia 920, Do u have any idea how it works?
