The last icon in the app screen

I have over a hundred apps on my phone (Lumia 720). When the number of apps crosses a certain number, the apps get grouped by name and the letters of the alphabet appear which you can select to directly jump to the place you can find your app - for example, H for Here Maps.

Now, there are 28 small tiles there - 26 for the letters, the first one for numbers and symbols (like ?) and the last one that looks like a globe.

I'm curious, what's that globe thing for? Does anyone happen to know?

if you have an app that's in a different language, in my case some apps in Chinese and Japanese, they gets grouped in the last one (the globe), sadly I don't think they are alphabetized once they are in there....=(
