URGENT Help Needed!!! Windows Phone 8 Strange Problem

Hey Guys, bit of an emergency. My HTC 8X GDR3 is randomly powering off and then getting stuck in a reboot loop. After several runs in the boot loop, the device will power on to the lock screen, allowing me to sometimes get in. However, mostly once it reaches the lock screen it goes straight to the slide down to power off and will not let me return to the lock screen and after about 10 seconds the device will power off and reboot and do the same cycle. My phone did come into contact with a small amount on water at the lock button area during a rainy a day, however the phone functioned normally for about 6 hours afterwards. I am now unsure whether it's a hardware fault or a software corruption.

How about doing a hard reset or reflashed GDR2 ROM back.

I am only new into doing major work with Windows Phone 8. I do however do big work for clients pn Windows RT and all Windows NT Platforms (Win Vista, 7, 8, 8.1 Etc)

On one of the attempts in which i managed to get into my phone, I went and checked that before backing up. I have 5.43GB Free

Sounds like the water may have short circuited the power button. If that's the case you may not be able to get a replacement since water damage most often isn't covered.
