I didn't know where else to post this so I'm sorry if it's in the wrong place.

I currently own a 1020. I had a 920 and it had bad battery life. At&t gave me a 1020 to replace it after having 3 920's in a month. Since then I have had 4 1020's. One wasn't able to make phone calls, another would restart itself everyday randomly, another had no battery, and this current one has a bad camera with a humming sound of fan when the camera is on. I can hear the sound in the video which is rather loud. Then there is a loose piece in the camera module when I shake it. And no, it is not the ball barrings, it shake louder than those.

The point of this thread is to decide if I should attempt to talk to At&t to get a 1520 if this next 1020 doesn't work...again. I have small hands so a large screen isn't my thing, but I NEED the battery life of 15+ hours a day. The camera isn't a big thing for me, just a bonus with the 1020.

Opinions? Little support with a decision helps me feel better about switching especially when the 1020 is the "best" phone that I've owned.

Wow sorry to hear about all your troubles. You appear to be a dedicated fan. Do you think you will have a different experience with the 1520? Its not that much newer of a phone than the 1020.Question, have all these replacement phones been refurbs? You may just demand they replace in store with a new one, opening a brand new box and testing it out in real time.

I don't know if the experience would be different. I just want a little less problems and was hoping a newer phone would help that. If this next 1020 doesn't work, then I will ask for a brand new one next. If that fails, then it'll be either the 1520, o
925, or an iPhone (last resort sadly...)

I have a new 1020 right now. So far it has frozen once and that's it. No other problems so far. I'll keep it until something else happens.

The 1520 is a great piece of hardware but if You have small hands then you will probably regret getting such a big device. I also have quite small hands and after a couple of days I had to exchange my 1520 to a 1020. The 1520 is also not very pocketable unless you wear fairly loose jeans. Performance of the two isn't dramatically different except in some games.
