    What do you mean true duplicates? Mines are music duplicates....everytime i try deleting one to delete duplicate it wont play the other clone.

    By true duplicates he means anything that actually becomes its own file, which yours are not.

    I solved this issue on my phone by moving all the songs from the phone, then restarted my phone and then pasted songs to music folder and again restarted phone. And this problem was gone.

    P.S.: Duplicate songs don't take space, they are just links.
