Call Duration and Call Recorder

Windows Phone is doing so pretty well with WP8 and looking forward for 8.1. I wonder why we dont have Call duration and Call Recorder option.., basic for any phone. Does some one has any info??

Good question. But I want an answer too. Believe me or not I miss many features which my Nokia C1-01 (Symbian s40) had but not available in my L925 and L520. Some of them you just asked and others include "FM Radio Recorder", file manager etc...

Record a call is illegal in many states. All major smart phone OS made in America. I think this could be the reason.

WP OS versions are released in the form of Country and Carrier specific variants. MS cant just state this legal issue as a reason. I just hope that MS leaves this adamant attitude and give users what they are BADLY in need of. I agree file manager is not an essential thing fr a smart phone(even iPhone sans it). But what i mentioned are the very basic thing a phone requires. Please listen to us MS.....

U can record FM radio by keeping it in Loud speaker using any available recorder app in WP.
