Contact issues. Contacts dont appear until i add my microsoft account, then show twice?

Hi.

Im having problems with my contacts. If I use my Microsoft account, my contacts don't show in the "People" app. If I then add the same account as an Outlook.com account, my contacts show up as two linked contacts? Editing a single contacts then requires me to edit them both separately..

Any ideas?

What type of email address are you using for your Microsoft account? It is a Gmail address by any chance?
