there's no magic manual setting besides auto or manually adjusting for each situation.

as for the hue, it may be something out of your control

So thats it? I would think the picture quality would be a little better. Its kind of ****ty...ive heard of people having this yellow tint in there picture so I know I ain't the only one.

First of all, if you are going to fool around with manual settings, you'd better know what you are doing. For example, setting the ISO impacts the shutter speed and can cause you grief, etc.

Also, even pros, using very expensive cameras, have to do post-processing to get things right.
