    I wondered whether timestamps for individual messages can be accessed. Only the most recent message displays a timestamp so far as I can determine. It appears this is a new feature in iOS7 so I do not hold out much hope at this time.

    Timestamps are available for every text messages you receive. Do you mind attaching a screenshot

    I thank you for your prompt response. I have attached two screenshots but thought I would check them before sending. Now that they occupy the whole of my monitor screen, I see immediately that the dates and times are there. I had not seen them in their pink on light and dark purple previously!
