Does anyone know and app/method of viewing a video a friend has posted on Facebook on my WP8 Lumia 820? Please help, boffins!
Open Internet Explorer, set it to desktop mode find the video in the browser and just tap on it.
Hmm. Thing is, Facebook then complains that I need Flash installed. I think this will require an app of some kind. Is there one available? I'm not asking if Flash is available mind, just for an alternative that will play Facebook videos.
Change it back to mobile mode, and try again.
There is no app which will let you play Facebook Videos but l m using IE and none issues playing one.
I managed it. Had to open the vid in a new tab in desktop mode, then switch to mobile mode then refresh. Only way to trick it in to working I could find.
I have a 1020, not an 820, but I don't have a problem with FB videos in the Facebook Beta app.

I tap the arrow icon and it opens full screen and plays fine. (PS It's a highly entertaining video!)
like the above said, app works just fine.
Ah. I tried the FB beta app (I usually use the standard one). Thing is, I'm talking about playing a video from a friends album rather than from a news feed post. The FB app seems not to list video albums, only photo albums. I wonder why, if it plays news feed vids fine? Am I doing it wrong?
