Does it place your music in SD card?

It depends on settings predefined in your phone. Whatever you chose Music Drop will store files there ;-)

Pretty handy if you don't have a USB cable, but coming from an iPhone... it's been quite refreshing to just plug in the phone and drag files over without iTunes or some other BS software package.
