Snap mode for WP 8.1?

Windows Snap mode trickling down to Windows Phone 8.1? Seems really natural in the long term OS synergy... why hasn't this even come up in conversations yet?!

What's snap mode?

I think Snap mode means snap screen feature which you can use metro apps side by side on W8. He wants it on WP too.

I guess you would need a really big phone for snap to be implemented

the Galaxy Note 3 had it, so its entirely possible.

and note is 5.7" so maybe 1520 and 1320 can handle it

I would love if the phablet sized phones, maybe 5.5" and up had snap mode. Maybe next year's update :/

I've found the multitasking view to be a nice workaround. Sometimes it's enough just to be able to glance back at the other app or bounce back and forth. I've often wanted Windows 8.1 to do the same thing.

I actually like the idea in this concept video, it would be cool to have this functionality in the actual OS

Its would be so natural if it would come tho... atleast for people who have big phones and want to use such a feature!

it would also help differentiate software on bigger phones!

Hopefully 8.1 will fix this. The current SDK does not contain 1080p emulation.
