Hi,

I have read that now NFC in WP8.1 is supporting tap and pay. This means that the SDK for developers is enabling the API to communicate with cards like Mifare, DesFire, ISO 14443-4 Generic? Or do we still to be using NDEF messages only?

Besides any news about accessing SIM Toolkit Apps?

I assume tap and pay will still require a secure sim? Something that a lot of operators still don't offer; at least not in the UK.

Something else I'm curious about is if NFC will now be usable to toggle settings directly. Would make it a lot more practical.

I know you can set it to open trust apps but,mot sure if toggle,will be, trusted,app. MS should,thing on adding trusted tags for enabling settings. This way you
are the one under the control
