Any future hard reset will just perform a WP8.1 factory reset, meaning you'll still being running 8.1: but will the factory default settings of 8.1.

They really need to update the desktop client to install updates, cause I'm barely scraping 1GB on my 8S with everything uninstalled apart from the Dev Preview and WPCentral...

Apparently its just a reset. Either way I'm down for doing such a reset after my update is installed. Nothing like starting with a clean slate.

yea i do that and update my phone with DEVELOPER PREVIEW app.
so i able to use developer preview for 8.1?
but i don't register my phone with sdk application in pc . so it is compulsory to register phone with that application

Hahah, what's the big issue with factory reset?

I personally don't want to lose my cherished game progress, so I'll hold on to my data for now. But once developers start enabling OneDrive syncing and backup, then I'll do a hard reset to clean up all the old baggage of using my 1020 since its launch day.

Indeed it does, but app installation of an SD card requires a Class 6 card or above.
