the amount of time it took to download already blew the whistle. Windows 8.1 Update took me almost 30 min to download

it is, after installing the small one check update again, then you will get 8.1

The update is live, it's two separate updates that need to be installed. First a small update then 8.1

Not sure about that, but hopefully there will be a new update within few hours.

it looks loke 8.0153.... adds some necessary codes to download 8.1. As soon as I finished that update I checked for new updates and now I have my phone downloading something very slowly.

i have already downloaded the small update to prepare for the 8.1, on my unlocked lumia 920 (U.K) now, it is downloading another update, which i can only assume is 8.1 itself, via the dev programme, confiusing thing is i thought for the uk, it was 17:00 hours for release, and its only just before 13:00 now - unless its yet another preparatory update! seems quite big though
