my first update stuck at 94% for more than 1hr.I have a very gud internet.battery is 100%.what to do??pls help.

on 70% of Preparing to install" for second update on my ativ s in the US. 1st small update went fine. glad i'm off work today.

Have you had any issues so far?

Can you let us know if you have Cortana as well.

Just leave it, it will go through but it will take an hour or more.

Trying a hard reset now my phone is set to US, see if that enables her.

Daniel seems to think changing regions should allow Cortana. Mine was set to US before update - maybe something didn't work? Let me know how your hard reset works?

what should i do if i disconnect my wifi when its downloading ?

is the all the data lost ?

or its resume after i connet again ?

on 2nd update. gears screen. status bar about halfway. fingers crossed.no problems.

My L920 has officially entered the WP 8.1 realm. It surprised me that a nearly 2 year old piece of hardware could run it so smoothly. So kudos to MSoft for keeping that aspect of the OS. Also the swype keyboard is amazing (although I wish you could enter words in, I hate that it won't let me swype swear words), cortana has a few minor voice recognition farts, but for the first release pretty damn accurate. Have experienced no other bugs so far.

How did you get Cortana working on your phone, was it a change to the region settings?

I would also emphasise about keeping your phone plugged into the charger, the updates will kill the battery...
