The ability to change the search engine

Is the option to change the search engine still there or are we stuck with Bing
I'd use Bing if it wasn't so sh*tty on local searches (I use MS services on almost anything except Bing Yandex seems a better option to avoid Google)
I do not have a WP (Saving for a 930) so I can't install Dev Preview

IE > Settings > Advanced Settings ... it still shows me the option to select default search provider. On Icon after 8.1 Update.
