Safe to upgrade on this phone?

Hi,
I have my lumia 920 and I am already registered on appstudio. I want to upgrade but the problem is the phone is going to get replaced with a new one as this has some issues. But I do not know the ETA. And I ask you guys if it's safe or not.

I'd wait if I were you, unless you're confident enough to install the update, then flash back to the previous version before sending...
