Youtube live videos support

I though that IE11 would have at last youtube live videos support. But you know what? Still not there. Why is this so hard to support this feature on windows phone?
No app can do that and I thought Windows Phone 8.1 would bring it but still getting "Live event playback is not supported on this client".
What a shame. Disappointed.
Is there anybody who can explain why we can't have it? Or maybe someone's aware of app that can do that?

I wonder if Google has to do something on their end. (As in are they purposely blocking WinPhones?).

Because if that's the case you may just have to wait for ever.

It does I've checked and IE can handle it

It could be because of encoding support for the live video IE has a specific vid support

this page shows that "WebM VP8" and "MSE & WebM VP9" are not supported in WP IE11
