Hi,

I am considering to update my phone (Lumia 720) to Windows Phone 8.1. However, my phone has got a lot of "other storage" used and it's full of junk. So i thought it would be a good idea to reset my phone. My bigges concern is getting all my photo's, contacts and apps back on my phone. What are the available restoring-options?

My contacts are stored in the cloud. So i think i can get those back easily.

My cameraroll is also stored in the cloud. However, i think when i reset my phone, the photo's will not be placed in the cameraroll album. I think it will only sync an online album.

Apps are all in my Microsoft account so i can install them bick withing a few mouseclicks.

What did i miss about restoring my phone?

i believe you can save download your pictures (on pc) from onedrive then place it into the camera roll folder when you plug your phone into your compute

Back up to OneDrive is easy and the best option.
I'd just look thru your OneDrive if that's where your cloud storage is to make sure your saves are there.
