for HUAWEI Ascend W1 this may help

Hi,
I'm a HUAWEI Ascend W1 user too and I get disappointed to HUAWEI's "elegant" support for its W1 and W2 :eck:
I've been looking in internet and investigating for a solution and following the post by Ryan in answers.microsoft.com

As we're doing a very well attack (+330 until now :devil , Eli (employee in Microsoft Windows Phone Community) is trying to fix this ASAP (as soon as possible)
he's doing it very well, I mean, giving a full care about the issue, personally, I'm grateful to see someone like him doing a good work to not hurt us as HUAWEI does
for ones who didn't checked this yet here is the link ...

So seems like a Chinese got it in his phone saying that he was using an old Russian ROM with firmware version 1030.56.01000.05310
I know this is not 100% safe but, here is the download link of the ROM

Here is someone confirming that there is somebody succeeded in trying it !

This is a reply from Microsoft saying they didn't forget us yet !


I toke a decision which is to switch to #Lumia ASAP, enough for HUAWEI, Nokia gives full care and support, plus it's owned now by Microsoft ... you got it right !

It does support WIndows Phone 8.1, but not officially!
