Battery backup after wp 8.1

Battery backup on l820 is almost half now after the update. And this is happening when I am using my phone moderately.

The same here on Ativ S, after 8.1 update the battery drains faster. Its been 5 hours since last charge and is down to 80%, no calls, just a bit of internet.
Is not good at all.

My ativ s battery is also draining faster and taking longer to charge. Prior to 8.1 I literally never paid attention because it lasted forever. I suspect it's Cortana as I have disabled pretty much all background tasks. Still love the update but not used to having battery be an issue

At me too charged it 7 hours and is 61 % what the ..dont even used the phone

Past 2 days terrible battery drain even with every background task off and location off. This morning I turned "battery saver" to off and the drain has stopped. Maybe something wrong in the actual battery saver app itself? Also if you open battery saver to check usage it stays open even if you back button out of it . Have to "x" out to close it .

Just turn off "location" and turn on "battery saver"
