So I love the new transparent tiles and would like to get my "Peoples" tile to be transparent as well but as we know it keeps showing photos of my contacts? Is there a way to disable that function so I get a clear tile?

I haven't tried it...but purhaps you could put the people tile into an app folder and that would be see through? Or use a secondary app to create a pin that is directed at the People hub.

IMO, asking to remove the pictures from the People Tile would be like asking to remove the smiley face from the SMS tile.

The only way is: open the people hub->Settings->filter contacts->uncheck all the accounts.

EDIT: Or you can chanege the tile size to small.
