Problem with HTC app

My HTC clock is suddenly lagging badly - the live tile is updating irrregularly. Sometimes just a few minutes but sometimes a half hour or more. Anyone else?

Try a soft reset hold the power button and volume down button until it vibrates.

Tried soft reset, no diff. Tried reinstalling, now the tile is just a blank with "HTC" at the bottom.

I think the 8.1 preview broke it.

Correct, there are a couple other threads buried on the site discussing it. Doesn't work for many (any?) of us. The clock doesn't show, or shows, but time doesn't increment...its broken.

Not too surprising; we know they use OEM API's, just the sort of thing likely to change in a new version. Have to wait for the actual release I guess.
