If Windows RT and Windows Phone are based on the same core, run on the same hardware and even share code, why isn't Windows Phone as powerful as Windows RT? Shouldn't it be able to use Windows' extensive library of driver support for printers and other hardware? How is it possible that Microsoft can create an ARM version of Windows 8 that's so much more powerful than Windows Phone, in less time?
