Hey guys

So I have setup data sense - I didn't have it until Windows Phone 8.1, but now it is enabled, and I'm pretty stoked, as its an awesome feature. One issue I'm having is that I cannot set my date of renewal to the 30th or 31st of each month. That is when my data renews, so it would be nice if I could set it to then. It only lets me have it at the 28th. Anyone else get this issue, or know a fix? Screenshot below

Thanks guys

Does your data reset on the 30th or really at midnight on the 1st?

I wonder if all companies avoid having monthly billing periods fall on days that don't occur 12 times a year. (If your cycle resets on the 30th, what happens in February? Does the phone company simply say, "we'll use March 2 this time" most years and "we'll use March 1" during leap years?)

Hello,

I am sorry to disagree but it does NOT make sense at all...
Every company allow contract to start on the 29, 30 or 31.

And to those who don't understand how to handle that situation : Let's analyse the situation :

Number of days if reseting on the 1stNumber of days if reseting on the 28thNumber of days if reseting on the 30th
Jan31 days (1st jan to 31th jan)31 days (28th jan to 27th feb)30 days (30th jan to 28th feb) (MISSING 1 DAY !!)
Feb28 days (1st feb to 28th feb)28 days (28th feb to 27th mar)29 days (1st mar to 29th mar) (MISSING DAY IS BACK !!)
Mar31 days (1st mar to 31th mar)31 days (28th mar to 27th apr)31 days (30th mar to 29th apr)
Apr30 days (1st apr to 30th apr)30 days (28th apr to 27th may)30 days (30th apr to 29th may)
May31 days (1st may to 31th may)31 days (28th may to 27th jun)31 days (30th may to 29th jun)
Jun30 days (1st jun to 30th jun)30 days (28th jun to 27th jul)30 days (30th jun to 29th jul)
Jul31 days (1st jul to 31th jul)31 days (28th jul to 27th aug)31 days (30th jul to 29th aug)
Aug31 days (1st aug to 31th aug)31 days (28th aug to 27th sep)31 days (30th aug to 29th sep)
Sep30 days (1st sep to 30th sep)30 days (28th sep to 27th oct)30 days (30th sep to 29th oct)
Oct31 days (1st oct to 31th oct)31 days (28th oct to 27th nov)31 days (30th oct to 29th nov)
Nov30 days (1st nov to 30th nov)30 days (28th nov to 27th dec)30 days (30th nov to 29th dec)
Dec31 days (1st dec to 31th dec)31 days (28th dec to 27th jan)31 days (30th dec to 29th jan)
Total365 days for 12 months365 days for 12 months365 days for 12 months

At the end, there is always the same number of days for the same number of month.

Thank you for reading (and doing your best to understand) this. I know I might not be clear... If only I could be understood... I want to be able to set the limit to the 29 :unhappy:

PS : You can help me request this feature, please :
