Family.....

Ok seriously I got 8.1 and I was thrilled,this family thing happend so I had to make a new Microsoft acc and make it a parent for my current hotmail acc I'm using for my lumia,and the thing is that it worked...till one or two days later it stoped and now it says I'm not in a family while im acuatly a parent in one...what the hell???made a new acc and did it all over and still nothing,read in a comment in a cortana 13 year younger post that it says u have to be in a family if ur under 18,so I went to my Microsoft acc and made it older..restarted phone and still nothing....what should i do?
