So, what's the difference in between"maps" and "here maps"? I know first one is Microsoft owned one, and other one is from Nokia. Any experience which one to use?

Here maps are completely offline (if you downloaded the maps ) and has lot more features (live sight , sync favourites , and you can also pin places on your start screen ). Where as maps (bing maps ) are very basic here in my country. I will always use here maps .

The biggest difference I have found is that the directions in the MS map app include exit numbers, while the Nokia HERE map app does not. So in HERE Maps, when you need to get off a major highway, it just says "Take the exit to XYZ street" but won't tell you which exit number it is. Microsoft's app will give you the number. This is the only significant difference I have noticed so far, though there are probably more.
