Before in glance settings you could type some txt and it would show up for some period of time (seconds) So here's what I found going through all Setting part. In Glance settings now it has "lock screen notification" for Glance screen info. I'm sure I was not there before. So anyway in lock screen settings I have Whatsapp for detailed status. And I'm able to see not only small whatsapp icon below clock when i get msg but also the msg I received on top as well (where txt used to be)
If you also want that go to Settings >
- lock screen/ select whatsapp for detailed status. Then
-go to Glance/ select lock screen noti.. for glance screen info.
That's it. Have somebody txt you in whatsapp and you'll see.
Ps. This probably works not only for WA, I just don't know what other apps do, never used them, only WA
