Ok, I just upgraded to the WP 8.1. I thought I was good to go with no problems. Then I noticed that my wifi wouldn't contect with my phone. (never had a problem with 8.0). now that I have the 8.1 it shows my wifi internet but about 20 seconds after it connects the signal meter drops to nothing and shows there's no connection at all. It shows our wifi network but no signal. It was ok before 8.1
Is there a simple setting in missing???

When you have troubles after such a update I advise a hard reset and start from scratch
