Poor Profile Pics in People Hub after moving to 8.1

I have noticed lately after update to wp 8.1 that the contact display pictures of contacts in People Hub does not update on its own if the contact is linked to facebook, i.e. If the person in contact has changed his/her profile pic in fb, the same will be updated in people hub after we open the contact by going inside it, on list it keeps on showing old pics. Kinda irritating lack of feature to update the pics regularly.
Feels odd when android friends ask why I have old pics of their fb display pics in my contact list :-/
Any one else faced same problem?

Mine is updating .. Only few contacts are missing to update.. So i have to open the contact to update profile pics..

I've noticed this too. Seems that the hub itself is not syncing with the facebook app properly. Either its the app, the hub, or data restrictions??

Yep. The solution is to not use it anymore. Microsoft killed the people hub (photo hub,game hub and me tile too). Just use the app, u know, like appledroidz
